Has your institution updated its Title IX policies, procedures, and Annual Security Report to comply with the latest guidance from the Department of Education? The DOE recently issued a new version of its Handbook for Campus Safety and Security Report and that 2016 Clery Handbook provides guidance on a number of key issues relating to compliance with the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act (VAWA).

In many instances, the 2016 Clery Handbook reinforces earlier interpretations of VAWA and its regulations. In other respects, however, the guidance is more expansive, resulting in the need for institutions to carefully review and revise sexual misconduct policies and procedures to ensure compliance. Institutions are also required to complete their updates in time to report compliance in their Annual Security Report, which is due by October 1, 2016.

Join us for a 60-minute training and 30-minute Q & A on what your institution needs to do to be compliant by the October 1 deadline.
